2012 WUSS Student Scholarship
September 5-7, 2012 WUSS Conference at the Hyatt Regency in Long Beach, California



The annual WUSS conference is conducted for the educational growth, training, and networking of conference attendees. In order to further these goals, the WUSS Executive Committee is providing scholarships to fulltime college or university undergraduate or graduate students to attend the 2012 WUSS conference with complimentary conference registration, discounted hotel room rate and up to two ½ day classes (Wed AM and/or Fri PM) for accepted applications. In addition, a limited number of students submitting an abstract* that is accepted and presented as a presentation or poster are eligible to receive the full hotel room rate and travel money up to $350 to cover approved transportation expenses. The scholarship requires that you fulfill the role of a session or class coordinator. This duty takes approximately 4 hours at a pre- or post-conference class or in-conference presentations.

APPLICANT MUST:

1. Be a full-time college or university undergraduate or graduate student at the time of the conference (during the 2012-2013 academic year).

2. Provide proof of full-time student enrollment including copies of classes or official enrollment confirmation, and a current student indentification card.

DEADLINES:

Travel scholarship (requires an accepted abstract for the conference)
Application and proof of student enrollment documentation (by e-mail to scholarships@wuss.org) are due by May 14, 2012
