| THE RULES |
- Each ballot must have a valid name, address and telephone number listed and must include a signature (guardian's signature if under 18). Each e-mail ballot must include a valid, verifiable e-mail address.
- Only original Herald entry forms printed in The Herald or ballots submitted on line will be accepted. A free ballot can be picked up at The Herald, 132 W. Main St., Rock Hill, S.C. between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday, limit one free ballot per day. No purchase necessary.
- Nominees must be based in York County.
- Only one entry per person or e-mail address.
- All online entries will be placed into a random drawing for a $50 gift card to one of the winning businesses. One prize will be awarded following the publication of the Buzzies special section.
- Deadline for all entries to be received at The Herald is noon Friday, October 2, 2009.
- Entries should be mailed to Buzzies, The Herald, POB 11707, Rock Hill, SC 29731. You also may drop off your ballots at The Herald offices located at 132 W. Main Street, Rock Hill, S.C 29730.
- Entrants must be 18 years or older. Contest is open to U.S. residents or legal aliens only. Employees, independent contractors, motor route carriers, agents, correspondents and immediate families of The Herald, Enquirer-Herald, Fort Mill Times and Lake Wylie Pilot are not eligible. "Immediate families" includes spouses, parents, brothers and their spouses, sisters and their spouses, children and stepchildren and their spouses.
- Winners will be announced in a special section of The Herald later this fall.
- The Herald is not responsible for misdirected mail or late, lost, stolen or damaged entries.
- Entry will be deemed consent for the use of entrant's name and photo in The Herald and in all media for advertising and/or trade purposes without compensation.
- The Herald reserves the right to amend these rules at any time during the contest.
